Proemio

Proemio’s philosophy is to produce high quality, great structured, modern wines with well defined characteristics for each grape variety. The wines are created starting with fine and selected grapes from Luján de Cuyo, Tupungato and Tunuyán valleys; ideal places for their growing due to its favorable climatic conditions and rocky soils.

Reserve Malbec 2003

This double Gold Medal awarded wine is for aging. It yields pleasures that, with time, will augment in complexity. It shows great intensity, a powerful structure and aromas well blended by its 10-months in first use oak barrels. Dark ruby red color with elegant purplish reflects. The nose is of mature red fruits, plum and plum jam; long; expressive and spicy. Soft tannins with a definite presence of red fruits, black currants, plums and morello cherries. The nurturing time in wood is brought out in a delicate combination of a velvety, expressive and soft texture.
