Don Cristobal 1492 Winery started in 1999. The winery was set up in Mendoza province which, for its natural features, fulfills the conditions of the international well-known terroir, and also because of the facilities offered by this region to the wine industry; well-trained professionals, highly-skilled labor in the vineyards and the guarantee of having the name of Mendoza as a brand. With the 2001 harvest, the company launched Cristobal 1492 trademark "the wines of the new world for the entire world" to the market.
