It is located in the Luján de Cuyo region, carril Ardoz (off route 60). This old winery belonged to the family of Gladys Alurralde Norton, who was the mother of Federico J. Benegas Lynch. Agustín Alvarez, Governor of the Province of Mendoza in those years, finished the construction in 1901. It is one of the few historic relics that remain from the old Mendoza of the end of the 19th century. It was made of adobe with a stone underground cave to stow casks and it has spacious areas to store bottles both in summer and in winter, for temperature variations are minimal.

From the most antique vineyards of Finca Libertad and after evolving for 18 months in new French oak barrels, bottles of this greatly balanced blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot are born. It is a wine with a red profound ruby color, attractive, and very clean as a result of a natural clarification process that guarantees the conservation of all the wines organic features. Among the aromas provided by these noble vines we can find black pepper from the Cabernet Sauvignon, red fruits from Merlot and the particular mint scent provided by the Cabernet Franc. All these, combined together with the special touch of the Petit Verdot and the complexity provided by the French oak. It is very pleasant in the mouth, velvety, but yet with great body and sweet tannins. Ripen black fruits, mint, toast and chocolate complex are the aromas that stand out. This is a result of combining mature grapes, adequate fermentation and French oak, plus conservation in bottles, away form the light and in perfect temperature conditions.
